I am Sune Jakobsen
I live in Varde in the southwestern part of Denmark.
I work with capacity planning, data analysis and optimization at Vestas where my area of responsibility consists of Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland (500+ technicians, 3000+ wind turbines and 10+ GW).
Before joining Vestas I served 11 years in the Danish Army where I was trained as an officer and had two deployments to Afghanistan. During this time I got extensive experience in leadership, coordination and planning.
Between the army and Vestas I studied mathematics and economics at University of Southern Denmark. This has given me skills useful for data analysis and complex problem solving.
In my spare time I enjoy walking long distances (daily distances from 40 to 100 km) with friends from the army or learning new skills such as php/vba/sql programming.
